Ashington Innovation PLC is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC).

The company was formed for the purpose of acquiring a business or businesses operating in the technology sector with a special focus on financial services and deep technology sectors, with a preference for taking whole ownership.

In order to deliver significant value to shareholders, the Directors will continue to review a number of exciting opportunities, and further announcements will be made as appropriate.

The acquisition, of either the assets, or the share capital, of a target company, will be treated as a Reverse Takeover. In order to maintain its listing, the enlarged group would be required to apply to have its shares readmitted to the Official List and trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Ashington Innovation PLC is determined to identify prospective target companies or acquisitions in its target sector and will not be limited to a specific geographic region. The Directors also will not exclude any target company with growth potential in any other sector.
